How To Make the Best Edible Pumpkin Pecan Cannabis Pie

The fall season is upon us:  cooler crisp air, leaves changing colors, football, and Thanksgiving family gatherings. The best dessert for this time of year is the pumpkin pecan pie!  However, the edible version is the pumpkin pecan cannabis pie aka pumpkin pecannabis pie.

8-10 servings

Here’s what you need:

Pumpkin Pie Ingredients:

  • 1 – unbaked 9” deep dish pie shell
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Pecan Topping Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves
  • ½ cup packed – light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons melted - cannabis butter
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Optional garnishes: cool whip, vanilla ice cream (whatever your heart desires)


  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, egg, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and salt
  3. Pour the pumpkin pie mixture into the unbaked pie shell, try to release all the air bubbles, take the pie and jiggle back and forth, tap the pie on counter a few times, end result should appear to have a symmetrical even finish
  4. Place pie in oven, set timer for 20 minutes

 *While pie is in oven – prepare pecan topping*

  1. Melt 4 tablespoons of cannabutter, low heat, in small saucepan <or> use the microwave and a small glass bowl
  2. Large mixing bowl, combine the melted cannabutter, pecans, light brown sugar and vanilla extract
  3. When pie has completed 20 minutes (keep oven on)
  4. Carefully remove from oven, add the pecan topping evenly in a single layer
  5. Place back into oven, set timer for 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when inserted into the middle of the pie.
  6. When complete, remove from oven, place on wire rack to cool
